Just exactly how dumb is Kris Sims of Sun TV? She can't say that On March 24, 2013 3:12 PM I began informing her and her mindless Sun Media associates there was trouble brewing up in Kent County EH?

Hoka Hey

Perhaps its a good day for Sun TV Camera's to burn?

http://www.cbc.ca/m/touch/canada/new-brunswick/story/1.2126656

Kris Sims certainly played dumb about what was going down in Kent County all
summer long until Ezzy Baby Levant started sqawking about all the cop cars
burning.then she suddenly remembered New Brunswick was in the Maritmes too.

When Ezzy Baby Levant, Mean Mikey Coren, Bullshing Brian Lillie slammed the
Indians bigtime calling them terrorists etc Krissy Baby Sims thinks its
should be
ok to go bother them some more with her cameras and make more videos of
the warriors for the Sun TV dudes to enjoy??? DUHHH??? Did she not think
that the Indians were not well aware of what Sun TV was saying about them???

Remember how the Indians dealt with the RCMP when they went on the resrve
after the corrupt cops arrested a bunch of their friends last summer? What
makes Sun TV people think they are oh so special?

http://www.cbc.ca/m/touch/canada/new-brunswick/story/1.1378335

In my humble opinion Krisssy is lucky the warriors only took her camera and
vehicle. The question is if they feel free to burn burn cop cars what make
her think that the idiots won't torch too? If they do then the affairs of Sun
TV will finally be truly newsworthy.

That said in June as the water began rising in High River and soaking
everything and the RCMP showed their nasty arses out there some pretty
serious shit involving the RCMP was already going down in my happy hunting
grounds of New Brunswick. The national media did not make much of it until
this week. Protests nationwide plus a pile of torched cops cars and a
slighly burnt RCMP Detachment office within a Mi'kmaq Reserve with a Mohawk
Warrior flag flying on top of it today tells anyone who was paying attention
that I was not joking about this nonsense this Spring. Does anyone even
remember when I first contacted a couple of dumb Newfy cops last November
who definitely knew Byron Prior and the nasty Newfy lawyer Rob Moore who I
ran against in Fundy Royal in 2004? Well in case ya didn't know the same
cops John Warr and Roger Brown are in charge of the war against the anti
frackers. Just so we are clear I definitely do not stand or agrtee with the
arsonists or the anti frackers or the Yankee fracker or Alward or the RCMP
etc. I made it well known long ago what concerned me was the exploitation
of our natural resources. Corridor Resources and their partner Potash Corp
has paid little or nothing in the form of royalties for they natural gas
profited from. I suspect that the other companies made a simliar deal.

Whereas the CROWN in New Brunswick has encouraged the Ivrings and a couple
other big foreign companies to clearcut our forests and has laid claim
to all the natural resources under the dirt we the people have paid
taxes on for over hundred years I must ask the obvious question. Who
does the CROWN in New Brunswick who for? Is thecitizens of NB or just
the greedy IRVING CLAN and their friends?

http://thedavidamosrant.blogspot.ca/2013/07/fwd-no-way-can-john-warr-and-roger.html

Need I say I truly enjoyed watching Sun Media last night? Ezzy Baby Levant's
amd Mean Monte Solberg" rants about the words of the equally sneaky
political Mi'kmaq lawyer Pam Palmetter and her many warrior associates was
comical to mean old me. Two profound well known neo con bullshitters calling
other bullshitters supported by the far left a bunch of a terrorists is
something only Ezzy Baby could dream up. Ya think he would finally figure
why he gets sued all the time. He was kinda pushing the envelope with the
lawyer Palmater EH? Later the neocons the confused British Catholic jew Mean
Mikey Coren and Silly Brian Lillie took it up another notch by adding their
worthless two bits. They would have made me feel ashamed of my
Scotish/English heritage if if I did not know that the French bastard Chucky
Leblanc was half Scotish and he iembarasses himself enough for the both of
us. Hell earlier this year before things got hot this summer their local
useful village idiot Chucky Leblanc was reminding Brian Gallant, Bob Rae,
Alward and the Boyz in Blue about burning boats up on the North Shore not
all that long ago. I bet the NDP/liberal lawyer Bob Rae remembered that
bullshit as he quit politicking in June and went to work for Indians again
just as the long hot summer began. Two other liberal lawyers Kelly Lamrock
(now NDP) and the Indian TJ Burke also work for the Indians now. They claim
the CROWN did not properly consult their clients. DUHH??? If so whose fault
was that? They were both employed as Attorney Generals for New Brunswick and
it was their boss Premier Shawn Graham of Kent County who sold the contracts
to the Yankee frackers CORRECT?

Despite all that ya think that the dumb bastards would finally clue in that
there was a few firebugs still haunting the woods when the SWN michine was
burnt this summer.

When Ezzy Baby supported a tweet of Dumb Dominic Cardy who is Mulcair's A #
1 butt buddy in New Brunswick. I bet even Harper's other spin doctors had to
chuckle too. Was that Ezzy's idea of divide and conquer? Perhaps he should
study Chucky Leblanc's videos to see Cardy dancing with the same Indians
that he is lamenting about today EH? Methinks both Levant and Cardy speak
with forked tongues.Cardy is clever enough to know the awful truth. It is
that most of the electorate in New Brunswick does respect the Quebecers in
RCMP/GRC uniforms. Plus most folks certainly do not give a good god damn
about fracking one way or the other. However watch out when a bunch of
corrupt copsfrom Quebec start bullying their neighbours. Things certainly
could get dangerous as Krissy Sims found out today EH?

It is also well known that most Indians do not vote in white man's
elections. Most Indians in New Brunswick do just fine under the rules of the
Indian Act. Dominic Cardy also knows that too. He also knows the PCs are
taking a nosedive in the polls while the Liberals climbing bigtime by saying
largely nothing at all So he had no choice but to to agree with what the
silent liberal lawyer/leader Brian Gallant finally said about the circus
that had been unfolding it tents in his riding all summer since Bob Rae
visited and helped him get elected. If the NDP had any hope of any success
in the next election after firing up the Indians all summer Cardy.had to
change his tune slightly. How many unions have the NDP supported over the
years broke a law or two as they protested many things to protect their
greedy interests? Cardy knows a well as I that the unions who support him
are in the Indian's corner so he repeated a lawyer's doubletalk for his
benefit and nobody else's. I will lay odds in private Cardy was jumping with
joy when the malicious nonsense in the backwoods of NB hit the international
news. Dominic Cardy only cares about Dominic Cardy. Trust me on that one.

Clearly the dumb bastards Premier Alward, Judge Rideout and Assistant
Commisioner Roger Brown kicked over quite a bee hive on behalf of their
puppetmasters the Irving clan and their many greedy, greasy gassy. oily
Yankee pals. I definitely do not side with the greedy Indians and the Green
Meanies pulling the strings behind the scenes. I feel sorry for the ordinary
people they have duped into protesting and getting arrested etc. John Warr
and his boss Roger Brown the dumb Newfies within the RCMP who are
orchestrating this war with the local folks in New Brunswick can't say that
I didn't try to call them and even warned them in writing that they were
playing with fire before they arrested the first pile anti fracking
protesters esrly this summer. Yesterday the dumb Newfy RCMP dudes took
things up a notch bigtime when they put snipers and attack dogs in the
ditches around the protesters and allowed some fools to have fun shooting
them with rubber bullets in order to piss them off. Wow how dumb was that
when they arrested the Indian Treaty Chief? Small wonder cops cars caught
fire. I am truly amazed that nobody got seriously hurt thus far. I am also
enjoying the RCMP bullshit about it all. Last week the Newfy Roger Brown
claimed on CBC that his mandate was to keep the peace. YEA RIGHT Trust that
I choked on my coffee when I heard that. Even the local Minister of Indian
Affairs Davey Baby Alward's mindless blogging butt buddy Chucky Leblanc knew
there was about to be a hell of a hoedown in Kent County.

BTW the CROWN's talk in court today of the corrupt cops finding out that
Indians had guns and knives in their camp is ridiculous. Big deal so what if
they did? Its hunting season dummies. One moose could feed the whole Indian
camp for weeks. Furthemore all my Hillbilly friends and I are jealous that
Indians can hunt and fish almost anywhere and anytime they wish on CROWN
land in New Brunswick. I wonder if their lawyer TJ Burke and equally corrupt
former Attorney General informed the dumb RCMP of that simple fact. As far
as Indians making a camp with a sacred fire on CROWN land I have no doubt
that is legal or the sneaky Indian TJ Burke would have advised them not to
do it. I bet we all know who helped the Chief write the eviction notice EH?

What I would like to see come from the PUBLIC RECORD is the building permit
that allowed the Irving clan to erect a gated compound on CROWN land in
order to store a Yankee company's rigging within and have their armed guards
protecting it on ALL OUR property commonly known as CROWN land. Its NOT the
Irving's private property.

In closing I must say that I have seen pictures of armed Irving Security
dudes standing right beside RCMP members on public property as they
photgraphed and harassed cthe itizens the RCMP/GRC claim that they were
hired to protect and serve. This time they were particpating in a legal
protest off the highway and the RCMP blocked the road so they reacted and
built a blockade within the RCMP's blockade. We should all doubt the
govenment's questionable actions. I bet it raised many questions to anyone
who noticed as to who truly controls the Province of New Brunswick. The
recent attack and arrests by the RCMP are particularly egregious in light of
the fact New Brunswicks Chief Health Officer has been given awards for
expressing her doubts in writng about fracking and the report about fracking
composed by policial whore LaPierre should have been placed in serious doubt
now that his lack of integrity has been found out and well known to all. All
that said Yankee go home until you are prepared to quit paying off our
corrupt politicians pay a decent royalty to the province for the people's
benefit just like the dudes in Alberta get for their natural gas. Get it
yet?

B. Todd Jones
President Barack Obama formally nominated B. Todd Jones for the
position of United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota on
June 4, 2009, and he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on August 7,
2009. United States Attorneys serve as the nation's principal
litigators under the direction of the Attorney General, and each is
the chief federal law enforcement officer of the United States within
his or her particular jurisdiction. In September of 2011, Attorney
General Eric Holder appointed Jones to serve as the Acting Director
for the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Prior to becoming U.S. Attorney, Jones was a partner with a major
national law firm in Minneapolis, where his practice focused on
complex business litigation. He has represented a number of
organizations and individuals in both criminal and civil regulatory
matters. Jones is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
He also has served as special counsel to various boards of directors
of public and privately held companies. In that capacity, he has led
internal investigations and provided guidance on compliance and
governance issues.

This is the second time Jones has served as United States Attorney.
President Clinton appointed him to the position in 1998 and he served
in that capacity until January 2001. Jones also has served as an
Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Minnesota. During his
initial tenure as a federal prosecutor, Jones conducted grand jury
investigations and was the lead trial lawyer in a number of federal
prosecutions involving drug trafficking, financial fraud, firearms,
and violent crime.

Jones received his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law
School in 1983. Following admission to the Minnesota bar, he went on
active duty in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as both
a trial defense counsel and prosecutor in a number of courts martial
proceedings. In 1989, he and his family returned to Minnesota, where
he developed a civil litigation practice encompassing a wide variety
of legal matters, ranging from products liability defense and
insurance coverage disputes to environmental and labor and employment
controversies in both a private and public sector setting.

Shot-hole driller goes up in flames, two security trucks seized - another
bad day for SWN in the woods of New Brunswick

SWN leaves equipment on private property - and a driller gets roasted
Posted by Miles Howe on June 25, 2013
Shot-hole driller ablaze down the Bass River road. [Photo: Miles Howe]

ELSIPOGTOG, NEW BRUNSWICK – Last night, as is by now being widely reported,
two SWN shot-hole drillers – large, tank-treaded machines that bore holes
into the earth to ready areas for controlled detonations – were spotted on
private land adjacent to the Bass River church in New Brunswick. Controlled
detonations provide seismic information in areas where seismic trucks, or
'thumpers', cannot easily access.

The reconnaissance party of three individuals that spotted the shot-hole
drillers were followed down the approximately 3.5 kilometre dirt road by two
SWN-contracted security trucks. When it became clear that SWN had parked
their equipment on private land, and had not requested permission from the
land owner to do so, a call went out across social media to rally to the
site, with the possibility of seizing the drillers.

Mayor requests police presence at council meeting
CBC News

Brad Woodside lectures fracking protesters
Fredericton Mayor Brad Woodside requested a police presence at Monday's
council meeting over concerns of further civil disobedience.

A city police officer was stationed at the entrance to the city council
chambers on Monday evening, which is one of the first times the city has
asked an officer to stay on guard during a meeting.

Woodside said he made the request personally to city police for an officer
to be at the council meeting.

"I had heard or there was intelligence that things might have gotten out of
hand [Monday] night. And I did not want that to happen, so it was a
precautionary thing," Woodside said.

"There were more than one group that had requested an audience with council
and were denied. Just wanted to make sure that civil order was maintained."

Two weeks ago about 30 anti-shale gas protesters showed up unexpectedly at
Fredericton city council.

Mark D'Arcy and his wife took over the podium to demand their views be heard
on the contentious issue of shale gas exploration and hydro-fracking.

The two wanted Fredericton council to pass a bylaw that would ban the
practice inside the city.

Woodside told the group he agreed with their stance, but he refused to pass
a bylaw.

The group was ordered out of the chambers after some tense moments.

Woodside would not identify who he was worried about this week, but he said
the police guard at the council meeting "was a one-time thing."

Subject: Perhap the wise old Indian Billy Lewis will ask me someday why I
was laughing at the fact that two Newfys John Warr and his buddy/boss Roger
Brown of J Division in RCMP are the ones in charge of the fracking battles
with the "War Chief" John Levi

After watching the circus unfold for a couple of weeks and reading
what the lawyer Amy Sock had to say I figured that it was High Time to
give the Warrior Chief John Levi a ring to see if anyone had even
mentioned my concerns and my ofers of assistance against the RCMP to
him.

Need I say that I was not surprised that John Levi like old Billy
Lewis did not have the faintest notion as to who I was? To be fair I
never heard of either of them until this month. However a simple search
on the Internet will easily prove that most of their purported enemies and
many of their supposed pals have known exactly who I am for many years.
More importantlyy he has had many people around him lately who have
been recieving the same emails as the RCMP. Top of the list would be the
NDP, David Coon's Green Meanies, the Council of Canadians, the Sierra
Club and of course Chucky Leblanc and his media pals in the the CBC
CTV and the IRVING crowd.

While waiting for a call back from John Levi I pasted together a
couple of important emails I sent to John Warr beginning late last
year hen I learned he in charge of the jurisdiction where I was born and
raised and ran for a seat in Parliament while I was a friend and supporter
of the nasty Newfy Byron Prior. Just like Chucky Leblanc, Barry Bachrach,
Werner Bock, Mary Ann Hennen, Alex Hunter and several other the Newfy
Byron Prior stabbed me in the back after he thought he made a deal to his
advantage with some corrupt politicians. Seems that people never learn that
cops, lawyers, politicians, bankers, bureaucrats and priests talk of ethical
conduct but they are in fact the last people to be trusted.

It has been a couple of hours since I called John Levi. He told me he
was in a meeting with a bunch of his supporters and that he would call
me back. I suggested that he mention my name to his friends and see if
any of them admitted to knowing of me. Almost instantly I noticed two hits
to the most relevant blog about John Levi's doings. Methinks there are no
coincidences. I will not bother him anymore and merely give him the benefit
of my doubts. I truly hope that Levi calls me back. However I am not betting
on it. People so seldom do.

Whether John Levi ever calls me back or not at least like old Billy
Lewis and the nasty Roger Augustine he now knows that I exist and
that amongst our common foes today are two cops from the "Rock"
John Warr and his boss Roger Brown. A funny part of our converstion
to me was that John Levi said he knew who Lenard Peltier was but did
not know who Billy Lewis. Levi's answer was he was new to this stuff?
Yet Billy Lewis claimed he was at the sacred fire in New Brunswick very r
ecently. Perhaps Levi did not understand me I don't know. I do know for
sure Billy Lewis never called me back and Angela Giles suddenly took a
vacation. Go Figure. These are just some of their many words that I have
read. I bet these people must have read a few of mine sent directly to them
after calling them as well.

with the Council of Canadians. "And how is this democracy? The New
Brunswick government has not been given the mandate to move ahead with
shale gas development. The RCMP are paid with public money and then
are assigned to protect private interests over the interests of the
people... This is not right."

Billy Lewis, Mi'kmaq elder, also visited and prayed at the Sacred Fire
in Elsipogtog yesterday. "This is Indigenous land and there is a duty
to consult Mi'kmaq and Maliseet, and they weren't consulted. These
actions affect the land, the treaties and all of us."

Perhaps the RCMP and anyone else who understands that politicians and
lawyers are monumental liars and is truly interested in justice should
scrolll down

Clearly on May 31st of this year I reminded the two Newfy RCMP bosses
that I knew they were they were in my old stomping grounds and I was
paying attention as I remindded them about my dongs with their old buddy
Byron Prior.

You can bet I made many calls and sent many emails before and after thirty
some people have needlessly gotten themselves arrested..I suspected that
John Warr is the unamed boss in the Irish Town Community Hall. At least no
corrupt cop has denied it yet. Trust that the RCMP and legions of others in
many
countries know my issues with public corruption, the RCMP, banksters and
the Greasey Gassy Oily guys go way back in time. The RCMP attacked me
LONG before John Levi and his little band of fellow "native warriors"
decided to seize a Stantec truck that is used in SWN Resources' shale gas
work .
At first I thought it comical that John Levi wold pick a fight like that
then allow the
local RCMP to take the truck and park it at their local cop shop so they
could surround it there. However who am I to judge? Nobody has the balls to
even say my name. Levi's actions did make the National News byway of a
little Pow Wow with the other questionable CROWN Corp known as the CBC
and the very next day they had quite a sizable fan club..On the otherhand I
have no fans at all who are willing admit in public that I even exist. Yet
there
are lots of evil trolls on the Internet who are more that willing to harrass
slander
and threaten my family and I for the benefit of the RCMP an dhteir political
puppetmasters and their corporate sponsors etc. Of that I have no doubt.

If the RCMP would harass litterly hundreds of their own members and even
kill citizens that they puportedly serve and protect why it is unbelievable
to think
they would attack a whistleblower trying hard to expose their many wrongs?

If you doubt me ask John Warr and Roger Brown about Byron Prior and I and
laugh as watch the play dumb or run away from you. FYI What I was trying
to telll John Levi on the phone is that all any anti fracking protester has
to do
to make the CROWN stay the charges against them is to simply serve some of
my documents on the RCMP. I was telling many others to watch Werner Bock
and his UFO arguments with the CROWN this week. I suspect that pigheaded
old farmer and newborn Nazi supporter would rather lose his farm than admit
I
was correct about Byron Prior and their many political friends. Where will
his pals
be if Bock gets his nasty arse locked up as nut just like it has happened
twice before?
Trust that I will never come to his defense again but I may sue the CROWN
about my cattle. Section 444 is stilll on the books CORERECT?

Anyway all of this political bullsit about natural resources reminds me of
the actions of AIM and the FBI in Pine Ridge back in the 1970s. Many people
wound up MURDERED including a AN ETHICAL Mic Mac lady and now at least one
of her daughters is a member of the RCMP. Go figure why I wonder what Anna
Mae's daughter thinks as her fellow cops attack her Mother's people in our
Native Land instead of the US of A EH?

Politically speaking Harper and everybody else want to forget what I said
about NaTural Gas, Natural Resources and NAFTA etc when I ran for Parliament
in the the area in 2004.

Perhaps the RCMP should study a LOTof documents and perpare to argue me
while ordinary folks review an IRVING News Rag trying to make fun of my
concerns in 2004 N'esy Pas?

Subject: David Amos

Hello Lisa,

David Amos asked me to contact you. I met him last June after he became
an independent (not representing any political party) candidate in our
federal
election that was held June 28. He was a candidate in our constituency of
Fundy (now called Fundy-Royal).

I wrote a profile story about him, as I did all other candidates. That
story appeared in the Kings County Record June 22. A second story, written
by one of my reporters, appeared on the same date, which was a report on
the candidates' debate held June 18.

As I recall David Amos came last of four candidates in the election.
The winner got 14,997 votes, while Amos got 358.

I have attached the two stories that appeared, as well as a photo
taken by reporter Erin Hatfield during the debate. I couldn't find the photo
that ran, but this one is very similar.

Raising a Little Hell- Lively Debate Provokes Crowd

By Erin Hatfield

"If you don't like what you got, why don't you change it? If your
world is all screwed up, rearrange it."

The 1979 Trooper song Raise a Little Hell blared on the speakers at
the 8th Hussars Sports Center Friday evening as people filed in to
watch the Fundy candidates debate the issues. It was an accurate, if
unofficial, theme song for the debate.

The crowd of over 200 spectators was dwarfed by the huge arena, but as
they chose their seats, it was clear the battle lines were drawn.
Supporters of Conservative candidate Rob Moore naturally took the blue
chairs on the right of the rink floor while John Herron's Liberalswent
left. There were splashes of orange, supporters of NDP Pat Hanratty,
mixed throughout. Perhaps the loudest applause came from a row towards
the back, where supporters of independent candidate David Amos sat.

The debate was moderated by Leo Melanson of CJCW Radio and was
organized by the Sussex Valley Jaycees. Candidates wereasked a barrage
of questions bypanelists Gisele McKnight of the Kings County Record
and Lisa Spencer of CJCW.

Staying true to party platforms for the most part, candidates
responded to questions about the gun registry, same sex marriage, the
exodus of young people from the Maritimes and regulated gas prices.
Herron and Moore were clear competitors, constantly challenging each
other on their answers and criticizing eachothers' party leaders.
Hanratty flew under the radar, giving short, concise responses to the
questions while Amos provided some food for thought and a bit of comic
relief with quirky answers. "I was raised with a gun," Amos said in
response to the question of thenational gun registry. "Nobody's
getting mine and I'm not paying 10 cents for it."

Herron, a Progressive Conservative MP turned Liberal, veered from his
party'splatform with regard to gun control. "It was ill advised but
well intentioned," Herron said. "No matter what side of the house I am
on, I'm voting against it." Pat Hanratty agreed there were better
places for the gun registry dollars to be spent.Recreational hunters
shouldn't have been penalized by this gun registry," he said.

The gun registry issues provoked the tempers of Herron and Moore. At
one point Herron got out of his seat and threw a piece of paper in
front of Moore. "Read that," Herron said to Moore, referring to the
voting record of Conservative Party leader Steven Harper. According to
Herron, Harper voted in favour of the registry on the first and second
readings of the bill in 1995. "He voted against it when it counted, at
final count," Moore said. "We needa government with courage to
register sex offenders rather than register the property of law
abiding citizens."

The crowd was vocal throughout the evening, with white haired men and
women heckling from the Conservative side. "Shut up John," one woman
yelled. "How can you talk about selling out?" a man yelled whenHerron
spoke about his fear that the Conservatives are selling farmers out.

Although the Liberal side was less vocal, Kings East MLA Leroy
Armstrong weighed in at one point. "You're out of touch," Armstrong
yelled to Moore from the crowd when the debate turned to the cost of
post-secondary education. Later in the evening Amos challenged
Armstrong to a public debate of their own. "Talk is cheap. Any time,
anyplace," Armstrong responded.

As the crowd made its way out of the building following the debate,
candidates worked the room. They shook hands with well-wishers and
fielded questions from spectators-all part of the decision-making
process for the June 28 vote.

Cutline – David Amos, independent candidate in Fundy, with some of his
favourite possessions—motorcycles.

The Unconventional Candidate

David Amos Isn't Campaigning For Your Vote, But….

By Gisele McKnight

FUNDY—He has a pack of cigarettes in his shirt pocket, a chain on his
wallet, a beard at least a foot long, 60 motorcycles and a cell phone
that rings to the tune of "Yankee Doodle."

Meet the latest addition to the Fundy ballot—David Amos.

The independent candidate lives in Milton, Massachusetts with his wife
and two children, but his place of residence does not stop him from
running for office in Canada.

One has only to be at least 18, a Canadian citizen and not be in jail
to meet Elections Canada requirements.

When it came time to launch his political crusade, Amos chose his
favourite place to do so—Fundy.

Amos, 52, is running for political office because of his
dissatisfaction with politicians.

"I've become aware of much corruption involving our two countries," he
said. "The only way to fix corruption is in the political forum."

The journey that eventually led Amos to politics began in Sussex in
1987. He woke up one morning disillusioned with life and decided he
needed to change his life.

"I lost my faith in mankind," he said. "People go through that
sometimes in midlife."

So Amos, who'd lived in Sussex since 1973, closed his Four Corners
motorcycle shop, paid his bills and hit the road with Annie, his 1952
Panhead motorcycle.

"Annie and I rode around for awhile (three years, to be exact)
experiencing the milk of human kindness," he said. "This is how you
renew your faith in mankind – you help anyone you can, you never ask
for anything, but you take what they offer."

For those three years, they offered food, a place to sleep, odd jobs
and conversation all over North America.

Since he and Annie stopped wandering, he has married, fathered a son
and a daughter and become a house-husband – Mr. Mom, as he calls
himself.

He also describes himself in far more colourful terms—a motorcyclist
rather than a biker, a "fun-loving, free-thinking, pig-headed
individual," a "pissed-off Maritimer" rather than an activist, a proud
Canadian and a "wild colonial boy."

Ironically, the man who is running for office has never voted in his life.

"But I have no right to criticize unless I offer my name," he said.
"It's alright to bitch in the kitchen, but can you walk the walk?"

Amos has no intention of actively campaigning.

"I didn't appreciate it when they (politicians) pounded on my door
interrupting my dinner," he said. "If people are interested, they can
call me. I'm not going to drive my opinions down their throats."

And he has no campaign budget, nor does he want one.

"I won't take any donations," he said. "Just try to give me some. It's
not about money. It goes against what I'm fighting about."

What he's fighting for is the discussion of issues – tainted blood,
the exploitation of the Maritimes' gas and oil reserves and NAFTA, to
name a few.

"The political issues in the Maritimes involve the three Fs – fishing,
farming and forestry, but they forget foreign issues," he said. "I'm
death on NAFTA, the back room deals and free trade. I say chuck it
(NAFTA) out the window.

NAFTA is the North American Free Trade Agreement which allows an
easier flow of goods between Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Amos disagrees with the idea that a vote for him is a wasted vote.

"There are no wasted votes," he said. "I want people like me,
especially young people, to pay attention and exercise their right.
Don't necessarily vote for me, but vote."

Although…if you're going to vote anyway, Amos would be happy to have
your X by his name.

"I want people to go into that voting booth, see my name, laugh and
say, 'what the hell.'"

> COALITION CALLS ON LEADERS TO ACT IMMEDIATELY TO STOP OIL AND GAS
> EXPLORATION IN GULF OF ST. LAWRENCE
> For Immediate Release - October 4, 2010
> PICTOU, NS – Today's decision by the Canada Newfoundland and Labrador
> Offshore Petroleum Board (CNLOPB) to allow seismic blasting in the
> Gulf of St. Lawrence was met with shock and concern by a coalition
> calling for a moratorium on oil and gas development in the Gulf of St.
> Lawrence. The coalition - made of aboriginal, fishing, and
> environmental organizations - is calling on municipal, provincial,
> federal, and aboriginal leaders to act swiftly to halt the testing.
>
> "With this decision, the CNLOPB has approved an activity that could
> damage this entire precious ecosystem," according to Mary Gorman of
> the Save Our Seas and Shores, "We want this decision reversed
> immediately, and action taken to allow jurisdictions bordering on the
> Gulf to have a say in its future."
>
> "Seismic testing could start in the next 48 hours, potentially
> damaging marine mammals like blue whales, and disrupting fish and
> fisheries. This approval has given oil and gas as a toehold in the
> Gulf that could lead to full scale drilling," according to Danielle
> Giroux of the. "Fishermen I work for need more say over protecting the
> Gulf. We want the CNLOPB's decision reversed immediately."
>
> "An oil spill in the Gulf of St. Lawrence would impact fish stocks and
> coastal communities in Quebec, PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and
> Newfoundland. Moreover, the national importance of this ecosystem must
> be upheld." says Gretchen Fitzgerald, of the Sierra Club Canada. "
> Federal laws to protect endangered species and fish habitat recognize
> the importance of protecting our shared biodiversity and resources.
> This decision is not reflecting this shared responsibility or concerns
> expressed by groups around the Gulf."

> Bennett was assisting Cape Bretoners opposing a coal-fired power plant
> at Point Aconi in Nova Scotia when he first caught the attention
> Elizabeth May, then Sierra Club Canada's executive-director. May liked
> his approach – among other things, he'd brought his wife and two
> daughters to a potluck supper meeting and assured the group he was
> there to hear from them, not issue orders. Several years – and, after
> an interview on a train ride from Toronto to Ottawa -- later, she
> hired him as the Club's director of atmosphere and energy.
>
> He managed environmental education campaigns; was the Club's main
> spokesperson on air, energy, automotive and climate change issues;
> prepared fundraising proposals; and wrote position papers and research
> articles.
>
> During this period, Bennett also headed the Climate Action Network, an
> association of up to 100 environmental, health, labour and faith
> organizations from 10 provinces and two territories. There, he was
> also the chief spokesperson, wrote releases and papers, and acted as
> liaison with government officials, ministers, MPs, their staffs and
> industry leaders. He did similar work with a successor organization,
> ClimateforChange.ca.
>
> It was then that he was involved in preparing reporters for the
> federal Conservative government's climate plan. "I figured we had to
> talk to the media. We had to meet the government head-on, and say what
> they were doing was going backward. We were very effective."
>
> The work "succeeded to the extent that when Stéphane Dion became
> Liberal leader, the party thought the climate and environment were
> where they should campaign. They were right; they just did it very
> badly."
>
> A spirit of collaboration
>
> Most recently, Bennett was communications director for the Green Party
> of Canada, including the 2008 campaign in which the Greens, led by
> May, won nearly a million votes and was the only party to increase its
> total.
>
> "It's a well-rounded background, ranging from activist events to
> negotiating in the halls of power," Bennett says. "My knowledge covers
> the spectrum of issues across the country."
>
> Bennett's experience has demonstrated the importance of collaborating
> with other groups and including as many people as possible, and their
> ideas, in whatever work must be done. That was especially obvious in
> the creation of the Green Budget Coalition, which analyzed federal
> budgets in terms of their impact on environmental concerns.
