Wednesday morning I had my candidate interview with the party , It was
fun , a great group of interviewers and a good interview . So its now
official and the following press release is a go.

FREDERICTON, NB - William Forrestall is pleased to announce his
candidacy for the Conservative nomination in the Federal riding of
Fredericton for the next federal election.

William Forrestall is a long term resident of Fredericton and was a
Conservative candidate in the 2006 New Brunswick provincial election.
Raised in Fredericton by his parents, Tom and Natalie Forrestall, Mr.
Forrestall is engaged in a wide-variety of local community and
volunteer organizations.

William Forrestall is one of New Brunswick's leading creative
professionals. A graduate of Mount Allison University, he is a
nationally recognized artist, with art galleries from Toronto to
Halifax currently exhibiting his art. His work can be found in private
and public collections including the Canadian Art Bank in Ottawa and
the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton.

William Forrestall supports the right to life, liberty and security of
the person, ideals found in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and
understands that the most electable candidates are clear on social and
economic policies as well as actively engaged in their community .

Mr. Forrestall is volunteer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation , the
Knights of Columbus, and a member of Saint Dunstan's Church. He is
currently a serving counselor on the District 18 school board and is a
well known advocate of parental rights, democratic values and
improving standards in education.

William Forestall believes in a greater Canada, advocating increased
economic responsibility, enhanced efficiencies in the public sector
and policies supporting vibrant economic growth. He has actively
advocated for lower taxes and greater tax breaks for charitable
donations .

As a writer, he has authored numerous editorial columns on a variety
of social, economic and political issues.
William is the husband of Anne Forrestall and father of Bess and Rachel.

The Conservative nomination convention is on November 7 and will be
held at the coliseum grounds in Fredericton . The nomination
convention is open to all who have purchased a membership by October
16 2007.

name stand, and be assured that I will be voting for you should you
win the Nomenation for Fredericton, I am pleased that you have a
strong and unwavering commitment to Traditional family values and
Morals. That is what we need today in our World where everything is
literally falling apart.
